The Royal Watercolour Society is based across two galleries in London.
Bankside Gallery, located on the Southbank of the Thames Path has been the home of the RWS since 1980 when it was opened by Her Late Majesty The Queen. The RWS Gallery is a newly opened gallery space just off Trafalgar Square where the RWS hold exhibitions and events featuring artist members and also external exhibitors.

Transport
Charing Cross rail and tube stations are within walking distance, as are Leicester Square and Embankment tube stations. When arriving on foot the gallery is located on Whitcomb Street is the road to the left of The National Gallery if you were standing in Trafalgar Square. Unfortunately the gallery has no parking available however nearby car parks may be found on Parkopedia.
Access
The gallery is accessible at ground level and there is a lift providing access to the basement gallery spaces. A gender neutral accessible toilet is located at basement level which can be accessed via the lift. Guide, assistance, and well-behaved dogs are welcomed.

Blackfriars rail and tube stations are within walking distance, with Southwark, London Bridge and Waterloo around 10-20 minute walk away. When arriving on foot along the Thames the gallery is located next to Tate Modern, slightly set back off the Thames Path, behind the Founders Arms Pub. Unfortunately the gallery has no parking available however nearby car parks may be found on Parkopedia.
Access
Wheelchairs users can gain access to the gallery via a ramp leading to the main entrance. Once inside the gallery the bookshop and reception area are at ground level. The main body of the gallery can be access via a further ramp. There are fire exits on both of these levels. Unfortunately the gallery is not equipped with accessible toilets. Guide, assistance, and well-behaved dogs are welcomed.
