WORKSHOP: Drawing from the Model and the Imagination: with Jessica Jane Charleston

In this workshop you will be drawing from a clothed model and your imagination. You will be looking at artists such as Vanessa Baird, Joana Galego and Kerry James Marshall who weave drawing from the figure together with drawing from their imagination to create new emotional landscapes of their own. Through a variety of drawing exercises participants will create a body of work that not only refers to the figure in front of them but also reveals something of themselves.

This course is suitable for all levels of ability.

This workshop will take place at the new RWS Gallery on Whitcomb Street, just off Trafalgar Square.
