David Remfry RA

David Remfry was born in 1942 in Sussex and lives in London. He was trained at Hull College of Arts and has been a full-time artist since 1964. He has had a large number of one-man exhibitions at venues such as the New Grafton Gallery, Ferens Municipal Gallery in Hull and Folkstone and Middlesbrough Art Galleries. He has work in a number of public collections including those of the V&A, Wakefield Museum, and Hove Museum and Art Gallery. He works in oil and watercolour, and his favourite subject is people in interiors. He accepts many portrait commissions.
