The Royal Watercolour Society comprises an elected group of artist Members and Associates all of whom make artwork using any water-based media on a paper-based support.

 

The RWS Laws state that there may be a maximum of just 75 full Members at any one time, meaning that the Society is made up of only the finest practitioners of water-based media.
