Jessica Jane Charleston

Jessica Jane Charleston is a painter and printmaker whose studio is with Bow Arts in east London. In 2017 she received a post-graduate diploma in drawing from The Royal Drawing School. Charleston describes her work as female-centric, self-portrait and subconscious musings. The women depicted in her works often begin as self-portraits but become transformed in the processes. Her current series of paintings look at fertility and growth, with paintings reflecting this in colour, nature and as always, the female. Charleston is also a drawing tutor on the Young Artist Programme at The Royal Drawing School.
